What sortyour.surf refuses to be

Not a faster way to save. It will never compete on one-tap capture or saving in bulk. If saving gets easier, the product has failed.

Not a feed. It will not recommend, resurface algorithmically, or show you things you did not choose. There is already a deluge; this is the far side of it.

Not a second brain. No promise of capturing everything, no AI that organises for you, no knowledge graph. A note you wrote beats a summary you did not.

Not a guilt machine. No streaks, no “you have 312 unprocessed saves”, no productivity-guru tone. The pile is not a failing; the empty gesture was.

Not an Instagram tool. Instagram is where the pile is today. The brand does not take Instagram’s name, colours or grammar, and does not depend on Instagram’s goodwill.
